WHERE IS ENDANGERED ESSENTIALS BASED OUT OF?

  • Our headquarters are based in the great state of Kansas. Our fulfillment centers are located in North Carolina and Texas.

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES?

  • Every species on this beautiful planet plays a vital role in the health of its ecosystem. When even a single species is lost, it can create a domino effect and cause the loss of other species. We humans are not immune; our fates are intertwined with other species and we too depend on them for the preservation of healthy ecosystems.

HOW DOES MY PURCHASE FROM ENDANDERED ESSENTIALS HELP SUPPORT ENDANGERED SPECIES?

  • For every Essential you purchase from us, 10% of your order's monetary total is donated to a cause that cares about protecting wildlife just as much as you do. We select a different organization to donate to each month, so check in every so often to see who we're supporting!

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO SUPPORT ENDANGERED WILDLIFE?

  • We are SO glad you asked! There are many things that you can do on the individual level to help support endangered species. You can start by:
  1. Learning about endangered species in your area and making your home "wildlife-friendly". You can do this by creating an environment that reduces your chances of attracting wildlife, such as securing your loose trash, placing decals on windows to avoid bird collisions, and feeding/keeping your pets inside at night.
  2. Slowing down when driving. Unfortunately, roads often divide habitats; the only way for wildlife to access these habitats is to cross these developed areas. Always keep an eye out for wildlife!
  3. Recycling and purchasing sustainable products (such as our Essentials!), especially those that do not contain animal products. Common animal products on the market that can easily be avoided are ivory, tortoise-shell, furs & skins, and coral.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

I ACCIDENTALLY USED THE WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS! CAN I CHANGE IT BEFORE MY ORDER SHIPS?

  • Please email us at support@endangeredessentials.com as soon as possible! We can update delivery addresses while your order is still processing. Please keep in mind that we are unable to change your order's delivery address once it has shipped. If your package is undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we may be able to reship your package and a new shipping fee may apply.

CAN I EDIT OR CANCEL MY ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPS?

  • If you need to cancel or make any changes to your order, please contact us at support@endangeredessentials.com within 24 hours of submitting your order. We will do our best to make any necessary changes. Please note that we cannot guarantee that any changes or cancellations can be made after the 24-hour mark.

MY TRACKING NUMBER SAYS "DELIVERED", BUT I NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • Unfortunately, Endangered Essentials is not liable for any missing packages that have been marked by the carrier as "delivered". Please reach out to the carrier directly to inquire about packages that fall into this category. In many cases, carriers may place packages in unexpected locations at your address!

MY TRACKING NUMBER SAYS "RETURNED TO SENDER". WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • Don't fret! Packages that are "returned to sender" are typically due to an undeliverable address. Please contact us at support@endangeredessentials.com as soon as you notice that your package is being returned to us. We may ask you to provide a new delivery address, and a new shipping fee may apply.

MY ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE HAS PASSED AND I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ORDER YET. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • There are many reasons why you may have not received your order yet! Before reaching out to our support team, please check the tracking information for your order. Oftentimes, the reason for the delay may be provided by the carrier. If there is no reason provided, please contact the carrier directly for more information. If no resolution is provided by the carrier, please contact us at support@endangeredessentials.com with your order number. Please contact us no more than 20 days after the estimated delivery date.

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS LOST IN TRANSIT?

  • If your package appears to be lost, please reach out to the carrier as soon as possible and double-check that the correct delivery address was provided! If no resolution can be made by the carrier, please contact us at support@endangeredessentials.com no more than 20 days after the estimated delivery date for your order. In some cases, we can reship your order at no additional cost to you.

I RECEIVED MY ORDER BUT IT IS DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • Please contact us at support@endangeredesseentials.com within 48 hours of delivery! Please include a description of the issue and provide photos. The entire Essential in question should be visible in the photo(s). We may ask for more photos if they are low-quality or the damage/defect is not easily visible.

DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

  • Yes! We offer free shipping on all purchases over $75 (before taxes). For purchases under $75, we charge a standard shipping fee of $5.99.

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU OFFER?

  • At this time, we only offer a single standard shipping method. All orders are estimated to be delivered within 10 business days. We do not offer any expedited shipping methods.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

  • All orders typically take up to 5 business days to process before shipping. Once shipped, most orders arrive within 5 business days.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

  • At this time, we do not offer international shipping. We only ship within the United States.

DO YOU SHIP TO PO BOXES?

  • As some of our Essentials require bulkier packaging to ship safely, we suggest using a physical address as your delivery address.

WHY ISN'T MY ENTIRE ORDER BEING SHIPPED IN A SINGLE PACKAGE?

  • Some of our Essentials are shipped separately from others in order to ensure that they retain their shape and durability during transit! Essentials that may ship separately include: Hats, Mugs/Tumblers, Notebooks, Pillows, & Blankets. Please note that if you entire order is not shipped together, you will NOT be charged an additional shipping fee.

ARE YOUR ESSENTIALS SHIPPED SUSTAINABLY?

  • We use a combination of efforts to ensure that we are using the most sustainable shipping practices possible:
  1. Our fulfillment centers are strategically located across the United States, helping to limit the amount of CO2 emissions we put out; as a bonus, this also lowers shipping costs while allowing for quicker shipping times!
  2. We partner with Native to offset CO2 emissions for ALL orders. This means that profits from our shipping method will be used to fund projects around the world that reduce carbon emissions.
  3. We use 90% - 100% post-consumer recycled plastic packaging to ship most of our Essentials!

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

I ORDERED AN ITEM BY MISTAKE/ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE/NO LONGER NEED OR WANT THE ITEM. CAN I RETURN IT?

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges for items purchased by mistake, the incorrect size, or due to buyer's remorse. Please double (or even triple!) check our sizing charts to ensure sizing/fit. Each of our apparel-based Essentials have sizing charts for your convenience and can be found here.

HOW CAN I TAKE THE BEST CARE OF MY ESSENTIALS?

MANUFACTURING & SUSTAINABILITY

HOW ARE YOUR APPAREL ESSENTIALS MADE?

  • Our apparel is made using a method called direct-to-garment (DTG). Our facilities use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on clothing (including children’s) while reducing environmental waste!

WHY DOES MY APPAREL SMELL LIKE VINEGAR/HAVE AN OFF-WHITE RESIDUE?

  • The smell and/or residue is completely normal! This is due to a fixation agent that is applied during the printing process, and it’s not permanent. Fixation agents (sometimes known as pre-treatment) help ink bond with the fabric of the garment, and without it, the ink would flake right off! Both the residue and vinegar smell should disappear after one wash.

WILL YOU EVER SWITCH TO 100% PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING?

  • We'd love to make this switch! Unfortunately, these types of changes are difficult to implement overnight. In the meantime, we are using 90% - 100% post-consumer recycled plastic packaging to ship most of our Essentials!

ARE YOUR ESSENTIALS VEGAN?

  • Yes! All of our Essentials are vegan and do not contain any animal products.

ARE YOUR ESSENTIALS OEKO-TEX™ CERTIFIED?

  • Yes! We use OEKO-TEXcertified inks and embroidery thread in all of our apparel-based Essentials.

SOME OF YOUR ESSENTIALS ARE "ECO-FRIENDLY"; WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THEY ARE ECO-FRIENDLY?

  • Great questions! An "eco-friendly" item is one that consists of at least 70% organic and/or recycled materials. To verify material content, we collect valid certificates from our suppliers. As proof of the organic composition of the apparel products, we only accept GOTS or OCS certificates. For recycled composition, we accept either GRS or RCS certificates.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH DAMAGED ITEMS, UNCLAIMED RETURNS, OR FABRIC SCRAPS?

  • We partner with waste management service providers Geocycle and Martex to help us take care of fabric waste! Whenever possible, we also donate damaged and unclaimed Essentials to local charities such as the Red Cross, the American Kidney Fund, and Goodwill.
